This year, our Write for Rights stall on Bishy Road highlighted three environmentalists around the world:

The environmentalists are...

• Ellinor Guttorm Utsi in Norway, a reindeer herder who is defending reindeer migration routes against wind farms
• Warriors of the Amazon, a group of young women in Ecuador, who are fighting against gas flaring
• Sai Saw Thaike in Myanmar, a photojournalist in prison for reporting on the aftermath of Cyclone Mocha

Business was brisk and included Martin Rowley, the Lord Mayor of York, and Rachael Maskell, MP for York Central, who arrived as ever on her bike!
